Peter made me haul my ass over to LJ. From now, I'll be updating there.

9:15 PM
Had only 2 hours of lesson today. Started at 12pm ended at 2pm. After that, Amanda, Daphne and I headed to Northland Shopping Centre to look for jackets and stuff. I think we bought every other thing but the aforementioned jackets.
I got myself a Juno shirt from JayJay's at $15. How wonderfully cool is that. Within 10 mins of my new purchase, I see some woman wearing it:( Here it is anyway...

Love the back:D Jayjay's rock. They have Spongebob and Elmo too. And stupid things like Hello Kitty.
We shopped from 3plus till just before 6pm. Then, I headed to the city to meet up with my STC friends. There was Chun Lei and Amanda Lim from Monash and WeiQi and Stacy from Melb Uni. And I from La Trobe. Had some Greek food which was too much. It was a meat platter for 4 spilt among 5 people but we still couldn't finish. Chit chatted and caught up with each other. Then we took a tram to some gelato place. Wonerful Roche and durian gelato there. OMG. When was the last time I had durian?? Totally heavenly. By the time I got back to La Trobe, it was close to midnight. Yea. Going to Summerhill Village to try and get my jacket from Target tomorrow....

OMG! It's cold out right now. Woke up at 7am to go to the gym. It was freezing cold but I still managed to get up and brush my teeth before having breakfast. Then I decided it was too frickin' cold out to walk to the bus-stop. Stupid excuses. My fat cells are multiplying exponentially as I speak.
And boys are the messiest creatures to ever exist. Stupid boy neighbours can't clean up after themselves after cooking. Now there's a bad smell coming from th sink. I almost puked while washing the dishes I used for breakfast....

I wonder how many ways are there to say, 'MY TIMETABLE ROCKS!!!" Mon and Wed are my least heavy days. I had lessons at 10am-11am this morning and I have another one from 3pm-4pm and I'm done. How shiok is that? And this morning was basically just a talk cock session. It was just the Podiatry students in my group coming together to introduce ourselves. Our discipline mentor is this guy called Daniel Bonnano and he's great. I remember him as "the banana guy".
I can so get used to uni life here....

School was super boring yesterday. I only started at 3pm so I spent a good part of the morning attempting to access the Tower 5 laundry room with my La Trobe card. Supposed to have finished my laundry by the time I left for school but the admin woman only activated my card when I got to her the second time. So I only finished washing the clothes before class and left them in the washer, praying no one would steal my clothes.
School was a boring affair. The LT was packed full! First lect was a joke. It was an hour-long briefing on PW stuff basically. Me and my friends were about to fall asleep. Second lect was slightly better. At least they told us the text we'd need to buy. Everything after that was just a shameless promotion of the book and what is included shrink wrapped with it.
After that, my friends and I decided to head down to Sports Centre to check it out, but not before I went to look for my clothes and put them in the dryer. Sports Centre was ok... Signed up for the free trial classes like Pilates, Squash Coaching and Boxing Fitness. Haha. NO LES MILLS!!! So I'm not going to join after the trials cos you have to pay guild fee(105 for a year) on top of sports centre access fee(1 month 53) and another fee of ard 60-70 for classes you wanna take up. What a rip-off. I'm going to go to the YMCA nearby which has Les Mills and cheaper (80 basic fee +50 a month, unlimited access to gym, classes and pool).
I did a very naughty thing after that. I don't think it's safe to say here lest I get caught. Hit me on MSN if you wanna know. It was naughty but it was super thrilling and damn bloody satisfying once I pulled it off. At night, my residential college had a study focus group thing. They started yesterday and would be having it every Monday onwards. It was super boring yet again cos we haven't really started classes so the whole session, we were just trying to come up with something to say about the course. I found out that Chem and Physics would be used quite extensively in Health Sciences but there were people who have done neither of the subject. I was thinking, "YEAH BABY! Head start! I hope the Chem and Phy involved is the type I've already learnt. And none of that penetrating nonsense."
After peer mentoring, I headed to Glenn(another residential college, mine's Chisholm) to hang out with my friends at one of their rooms. I'm so moving there next year. Yea. We talked cock and watched Changeling till midnight. The movie was good as much as I hate to admit... I refused to watch it in Singapore cos of Angelina Jolie. As much as she's saint-like with all her humanitarian work etc, I'll always think of her as "the other woman". But seriously, it was worth watching just cos the storyline was absolutely amazing. I didn't like AJ's acting though. I'm no expert but what I saw was basically a series of facial expressions ranging from pursing her lips half the movie to opening her eyes wide and yelling something in rage/sadness. Cinematography was good though. Clint Eastwood. Going back was quite scary in the dark. Luckily, after walking a short distance, my friend remembered the security van service. We called them and they picked me right up to send me back:D...

School tomorrow. My friend has helped me get my timetable sorted out and it's surprisingly bare. I only have school from 3pm-5pm tomorrow. I'll prob spend the morning doing laundry or something.
I also gt my gym stuff settled. Found a super near gym(compared to Melb Central) near my school. It has many Body Attack and Body Pump classes and maybe , if I'm up to it, I'll try Body Step(again).
Went to church with my uncle(Dad's distant relative) and his mum(the elderly lady whom you saw at the airport). They picked me up from school at 10am and we drove down to the church. It's pretty different from anything I've ever experienced before. All my life, I've been exposed to contemporary churches but this one was the traditional type of Christian church. They observe a certain format to their services and this congregation was pretty small compared to the thousands strong congregation at Expo I'm used to. But the service was great and I no matter what, I felt that I really took something back from it.
After that, 3 of us went to Box Hill for lunch. Box Hill is this place in Victoria where most of it's population and businesses are Asian. Had a lunch of pork chop rice and 2 types of dumplings shared among the 3 of us. The portions were huge! Like the dumplings were like fist-sized things with skins so thick, they filled you up pretty fast. And there were each about 15-20 pieces of each type. OMG. You wouldnt believe it! Took some of the leftovers back.
Oh, and on the way out, I bought Bailey's-filled chocolates!!! Yumm!

It was Survival of the Fittest:Mario VS Bees of Doom. Naturally I won. Haha. Yea. There were bees in my room today. It started with 1. It was flying around like crazy and I was shit scared that it'd sting me. The somehow it landed on my table, looking like it was struggling or something. Then I placed the tissue box on it. Dumped it outside. Then freaking got another one which came in. I don't know how. All I know is that I now understand why there are so many dead bees near the window pane and why the previous resident left a bottle of Mortein in the room. I sprayed the second bee like crazy. Sprayed he whole window and the openings for extra protection. Not long after, I hear another buzzing noise and found another bee on the window. Sprayed that little bugger as well. Oh, before I left to get groceries, I heard more buzzing. Was so scared tat the whole colony would come that I ran out! When I got back, my room was bee free. Haha. Go me man!!!

Bee#1 begging for mercy.

#2 dead! It's the one on the right... the "freshest" looking one.

All the dead bees from 12 CH past and present.

This bird was outside my window making a lot of noise. I think it's the culprit to my early morning wake up calls....

Been quite busy today for some reason. Looking back, I didn't really do much but somehow, it seems my day was quite packed. Left for the gym at 10.45am to catch the 12.15pm Body Attack class. After that, I popped by the asian groceries store to get some chestnut snacks. Then, I took a bus back to campus. By then, it was already 3pm. Made myself some fried rice with stir fried veg and chicken. Then proceeded to hand wash my dirty gym clothes(going again tomorrow) and the 2 new tops I bought from Supre. I love the fact that when you hand wash things here and hang 'em up in your room, within a few hours, on the same day, they're completely dry. AMAZING! In SG, you have to wait ages cos of the humidity.
So after that, I slacked around till abt 5.45pm when I went off to meet FOCUS people. FOCUS stands for Fellowship of Overseas Christian University Students. Haha. Smart eh? It's my first week so I was quite nervous. I didn't know anyone. My friend, Amanda, who came last week didn't come today cos she was too tired after shopping at the market(which reminds me, I'm out of food). Anyway, Amanda came back last week gushing about some Aus guy whom we now know as "Mr Perfect". Haha. Will come back to him later. The fellowship involved loads of people, from students to people working at La Trobe, even to people who have already graduated. A lot of them are from Indonesia, China, there was a smattering of Singaporeans and Malaysians, Hong Kongers an Indian and a Thai. Oh, and like 6 Aussies. The fellowship was at someone's house just outside the Uni. We had dinner there followed by some praise and worship and bible study. Really had fun today and bible study was good, like so much more in depth than those I've ever done before. Seriously should've gone for this last week instead of the Eagle Bar. What the heck was I thinking? Am thinking of going to the camp they'll be having. It'll be great.
Back to Mr Perfect. He's some Aus guy who my friend thinks is bloody handsome. And really, he is. Haha. He seems to be the leader of the group. He hasn't spoken to me yet sadly:( He's too short for me in any case. And my friend already has a crush big enough for the both of us. Hehe. I met this other Aus guy who led us in bible study. Chatted with him for a bit. He thought I was from China, as do most Aussies I've met. It's so weird. Like the China people don't think I'm from China. But the Indians and Australians do. The journey back home saw me trying to communicate with this China guy in Chinese. There was this other Aus guy driving us back and luckily, he didn't understand us. Otherwise, he'd be laughing too hard from it....
